Émoi is a film composer, music producer, and multi-instrumentalist best know for his work on Willy’s Wonderland. Besides writing the score and character songs for the film, Émoi also provided the speaking and singing voice for the main villain Willy The Weasel. Not since The Nightmare Before Christmas has a composer attempted such a feat and pulled it off so successfully, amassing millions of listens across YouTube Music, Apple Music, and Spotify.

Émoi’s musical journey began at the age of five when he joined a local choir. He would soon discover his innate musical ability as he taught himself guitar, bass, drums, and piano. As a songwriter, Émoi has written and performed with countless well-established acts such as B.B. King, Peter Murphy, and The Killers. Émoi has also created some very memorable brand jingles such as Honda’s “Happy Honda Days”, The Golden State Warriors’ “Worth The Wait”, and The San Francisco Giants “We Find Our Way” - which debuted in 2012, the same year The Giants won the World Series.

Since then, Émoi composed the critically acclaimed short films Corked and Ups And Downs, as well as over 200 of the most successful and Emmy winning global campaigns for brands such as Apple, Google, Facebook, Roblox, Tedx, Ubisoft, Visa, EBay, Intel, VMWare, Franklin Templeton, Microsoft, NBC, Samsung, and many more.

Whenever possible, Émoi enjoys donating his time to score for charities such as Compass Children’s Center and The Safeway Foundation.

The moniker Émoi (pronounced /emwa/ was chosen for its meaning, “to cause a deep emotional stir and great excitement”.
